The EmpowHER Conference is an ideal place for women in ministry and those who support them to find affirmation, connection, and advocacy. Located this year in the wonderful city of San Antonio and hosted by Antioch Missionary Baptist Church, a pioneer in equipping women in ministry, the EmpowHER Conference features preaching, workshops, worship, networking and exhibitors centered on the theme Si Se Puede or Yes She Can!
Our conference will begin on the evening of Thursday, October 17 with our Honoring the Women Who Lead Dinner. We invite churches and organizations to purchase a table of eight and use this opportunity to invite the women who lead various ministries at those churches so that they may be recognized and honored. This formal seated dinner will feature the preaching gifts of Rev. Dr. Lemelle Taylor.
On Friday, October 18 hear two more amazing preachers - Rev. Jess Kemp and Rev. Anyra Cano - during two worship services. Friday also features three opportunities to learn and connect on a deeper level through topical workshops, workshops by ministerial specialty and workshops geared to experience level as a minister.
Friday's geographic networking lunch is vital for all attendees! At this lunch, attendees will connect with other ministers from their geographic area of Texas and discuss how TXBWIM can best support them in the coming year. We strongly encourage all attendees to purchase the General Admission + Friday Boxed Lunch Ticket so that you can help design the future of TXBWIM!
Conference attendees are encouraged to explore San Antonio Friday night for dinner and conversation after a rich day of worship and learning. Saturday morning, October 19, will include a final workshop opportunity as well as a final worship event featuring the preaching gifts of Rev. Ellen DiGiosia. There will be exhibitor booths available for participants to gather resources to support their ministries throughout the conference.
